The Akkerdal Wild Boar 2005 vintage took the Top Bordeaux Style Red award. This wine is characterised by the full flavours of ripe fruit, berries and undertones of spices with whiffs of chocolate and candy floss, with interesting flavours of wild “fynbos”. With blend of Bordeaux, Rhone and South African cultivars. The beautiful royal red colouring and tints of chocolate brown and the distinct musk aroma give this wine dimension and depth.
